Attention Truck Injury Accident Victims: If you or a loved one has been injured or killed in a trucking accident, don't delay in finding a truck accident attorney to represent your claim. Trucking accidents are not like typical motor vehicle accidents. Special rules and regulations apply to truckers and truck companies, and the damage caused by tractor trailer crashes can be devastating. Slappey and Sadd provide high quality legal services to victims of trucking accidents throughout the United States.

The State Highway Patrol says mechanical failure is not the reason a semi-truck plowed into the back of a car carrying Marine recruits Wednesday, killing three of them.

Truck driver Donald Williams of Youngstown gave a statement after the accident, but declined to be interviewed by a trooper Thursday.

Lieutenant Joe Dragovich of the State Patrol's Warren Post says they inspected the truck, and found no mechanical issues.

Authorities are still looking into whether Williams may have been texting or talking on a cell phone before the accident.
